Veteran's Property Tax Abatements
Property tax deductions are available to disabled Hoosier Veterans. Tax deductions are available from $12,480 to $37,440 depending upon the situation.

Talking Book & Braille Library
Welcome to the Indiana Talking Book and Braille Library (TBBL) website. The TBBL provides large print books, braille books, and books on tape to Indiana residents who are unable to read regular print, because of a visual or a physical disability.

Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS)
Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS), a program of the Bureau of Rehabilitation Service (BRS), provides quality, individualized services to enhance and support people with disabilities to prepare for, obtain or retain employment. Through active participation in their rehabilitation, people with disabilities achieve a greater level of independence in their work place and living environments.

Military Family Relief Fund
Beginning on January 2, 2007, the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) began accepting grant applications from the families of deployed or recently deployed Indiana National Guard members and members of the Selected Reserves. Effective April 30, 2009, certain active duty service members are eligible.

Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services
The Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS) provides services for individuals with developmental disabilities that enable them to live as independently as possible in their communities. BDDS assists individuals in receiving community supports and residential services using a person-centered plan to help determine which services are needed and who can best provide them. BDDS also monitors the quality of care and the facilities of those who are approved to provide these services in Indiana.

Disability Determination Bureau
The Indiana Disability Determination Bureau (DDB) performs the medical adjudication for the Social Security Administration (SSA), of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) disability claims for the citizens of the State of Indiana.

Since 1975, the Indiana Resource Center for Families with Special Needs or IN*SOURCE has provided service to Indiana's families of infants, toddlers, children, youth and young adults with disabilities.
